Sherrie A. Pelkey

Sherrie A. Pelkey, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Pelkey joined Alamance ENT in early 2002 as the Audiology Director. She brought with her almost 7 years of clinical experience from Greensboro ENT. Dr. Pelkey graduated with her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in 2000. As the Audiology Director she has the opportunity to mentor students working towards their doctoral degrees. Dr. Pelkey’s areas of clinical expertise include fitting hearing aids and evaluating patients with balance disorders.

She enjoys public speaking and has been an invited guest to various community events to discuss hearing loss, hearing protection, amplification and other audiology issues. Dr. Pelkey  was honored to present at Life @ Elon on the connection between hearing loss and cognitive decline.

She has two sons and lives in Elon with her husband. The Pelkeys are animal-lovers and the family also includes two doodles, Ellie and Poppie.
